Along with continuing the traditions of the past, strolling the boardwalk and speaking with visitors about Virginia City History, the Silent Riders participate in a number of special events in town throughout the year.
You can find us in virtually every parade that Virginia City has. There is one almost every month, in fact!

FEBRUARY- Devil Made me do it crawl (Taste testing from all of the bars)
MARCH- Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry (You'll definitely have a ball at this event! literally)
APRIL- Father Daughter Dance (Dads, take your special baby girl to this event)
MAY-Annual Chili On The Comstock (Enjoy samples of home cooked chili)
JULY- Hot August Nights (Enjoy classic cars from the past)
OCTOBER-World Championship Out House Races (you will howl with laughter at these slap-stick races)
DECEMBER- Christmas On The Comstock see wonderful Christmas decorated store fronts that compete for first prize and maybe even Santa Claus
Our group also quietly supports the community through volunteer work ranging from holiday decorating to events at Piper's Opera House.
We have represented the Comstock at various events in Carson City, Minden, Reno, Dayton and across the region.
