I know this took time away from your Saturday morning to spend time with 601 for this event even as you had your own tribute to cmplete. I'm proud and honored by your support. Wes your leadership, prayer and commitment to the historical Comstock continues to be noteworthy and honored. Love ya brother.

Silent Riders Summer BBQ Kickoff

The Silent Riders gathered in Virginia City to host a summer BBQ. Delicious Hamburgers and Hotdogs were the fare of the dat along with soft drinks. It was a wonderful time and the Riders ate and exchanged stories of their recent past and what the forthcoming summer months held in store for the group.

Virginia City Silent Riders was founded in 2018 and became a 501(c)(4) in 2023 by a group of passionate historians and preservationists who saw a need for a more comprehensive approach to historical preservation. Since then, we have worked on numerous projects across the county. You can find Silent Riders walking the boardwalk, helping make visitors stay, a much more memorable one.
