If You've ever been to Virginia City, It was probably to see a Parade. The Town all dressed up in its finest to celebrate a holiday to honor folks we hold dear, but Virginia City knows how to throw a Parade! St. Patrick's Day Parade
Parade starts at 12:00 Noon
This is the first parade of the year and the town is just packed with Silent Riders and visitors!
ALSO! it's the Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry so HAVE A BALL!
Memorial Day Parade-We honor the fallen
Parade starts at 12:00 Noon
Many Silent Riders turn out for this solemn occasion of remembrance.
Fourth Of July Parade

On this day, you will find the most Silent Riders in town celebrating our country's independence and the American way of life, capped off with a spectacular fireworks display!!
Labor Day Parade
Parade starts at 12:00 Noon
The Silent Riders are always in force to pay tribute to the American Worker!
Veteran's Day Parade
Parade starts at 11:11 a.m.
The Silent Riders, many of them Veterans and peace officers are always in town to celebrate their brothers and sisters.
Christmas on The Comstock Parade / PARADE OF LIGHTS (bundle up, ts chilly outside) This is an evening event, usually starts at 5:00p.m. The Silent Riders will not shoot at this event, but willwith lanterns and scarves, they march to celebrate the season of love and family, along with vehicles of all sorts decorated with Christmas lights and music in the air, it's a sight to see! Kids, keep an eye out for Santa Claus!
This will be capped off with a Magical Christmas Fireworks Show! at 6 pm
You can always find Silent Riders walking the boardwalk, especially on the weekends, stop us to say hello & take a picture!
To ensure safety for all attendees:
Prior to ANY Parade in which the Silent Riders Participate in-
ALL firearms are thoroughly inspected for empty chambers by an authorized and licensed instructor, or an appointed inspector, prior to blanks being distributed for parade discharge.
By the mid-1870s, Virginia City had a population of 25,000-40,000 and over 100 saloons, fifty stores, four banks, six churches, and both public and private schools
